i seem to remember costco saying that i could return my camera at any time if i didn't want it anymore and get a full refund. is this true? its over a year old. i still have the box/receipt/usb cable... i cut off the upc on the box (must have been a rebate). do you think i will have any trouble?

A year old camera should not get you a full refund since it's price will be much reduced by now.

If they do this then that will cost them quite a bit I can see but if they do it then I might have to shop there, and buy a video card or two. 😉

You will get a full refund. You don't even need the box, just your card.

Don't be an ass and try to return it. Chances are they would be stupid enough to do it, but don't take advantage of it.

Damn that sucks then. 🙁

Don't have any of those near where I live but I was going to check where the nearest one was.

I read up a bit on their return service before I got my Infocus 4805 from them. It seems like some stores may be changing their return policies due to abuse. (Not all, but some)

I also heard that they made returns on computer products only good for 6 months after purchase.

returned my year old olympus c-4000. the guy took one look at it and told me it was obsolete and they dont make it anymore and they probably wont get credit for it but they took it anyway. got full refund including tax ($271). now i think im gonna get a canon sd400 (from costco of course) for about 60 bucks more.
