Return To Castle Wolfenstein openGL Problem!! PLEASE HELP!!

I keep getting those errors when i load up RTCW, i have a voodoo 3 3000 with windows xp as os...can anyone tell me what is going on?

also dont expect this game to run well with your card, I have a g400 and it plays like dog poo

not sure, it seems to be a driver problem, or that the resoultion is not supported or something, hard to tell.

the thing with wolfy is that it needs t&l badly, the game runs slow for me even in the lowest graphics setting, and its only a little slower than that when I have it on highest.

go pick up a cheap gf2 mx card if you want to play the game, to bad its nothing special 🙁
 
I dont know, never had a 3dfx card so I dont have a clue where to search.

it seems to be missing the glide driver
 


<< You need to install opengl drivers.
http://www.glsetup.com/ This might work for you if you can't get newer drivers.
EDIT: ohh...its a glide problem..your on your own 🙂 >>



Make sure you have DirectX8 installed, the latest drivers for the vid card, and run GLsetup.

Oh, and Czar, he should still be able to play it well, the G400 you are trying to use has NEVER been called a 3D card, and is expected to suck in 3D.

 
no no my g400 rocks in 3d, just missing t&l, it is about as fast as the voodoo3 2000. Before Geforce 1 came out G400 Maxx was the king of 3d.

Whats best about it and the reason I havent bought a new card is that its the best there is in 2d.

BullSh&icirc;t!!! It runs beautifully on my Hercules Kyro II... 1024*768 and EVERYTHING on the highest setting is just super fluid 60+ fps easy.
 
The Kyro has hidden surface removal, works wonders. The levels in Wofl are huge with lots of polygons and with HSF the card doesnt have to process them all.

Though it could be my old win2k install 😉
