A sweet deal most retailers will match the price.

There has been a trend latley of games becoming shorter Max Payne (very short) Red Faction(very short), Ghost Recon (short)...maybe my skills are improving , but I doubt it because I STILL have not made it the the entire UNREAL TOURNAMENT:eek:. Consider the old school stuff and compare.

Chum,

How can your serial # be banned from online play? Did you p*ss somebody off, or is your serial # in use on more than one computer ;)

I thought you could have it on as many computers as you want.. only one can play online at a time though......

I was wondering the same thing about the banning.. My son wants me to install Wolf on his pc so he can do multiplayer, but if that will ban me I'll just pay the 30 bucks to get another copy for him. He isn't interested in the single player, but he's getting tired of the beach invasion beta test....

I have a question about Price adjusting with Best Buy. I bought this game 2 weeks ago from them at the regular price, will they pricematch it with Circuit city? Normally I know they would but Computer Sofware doesn't really fall under that 30 day return policy because it can only be returned if defective or unopened. I opened mine!

I just got back from CC... I went to get a flyer so I could PM at Walmart... I figured I was getting there 2 hours after opening... There wouldn't be any left... I took a look anyway.. They had 12 on the shelf. Unbeleiveable. When the cashier rung it up he said "good deal huh? I've got mine under th counter". He told me I was the first copy he sold. Damn finally got lucky with CC.

Yes, their policy states "any item" falls under the BB 30 day PM guarantee if a "local comptitor" advertises it for less. You should also get an additional 10% back as part of their policy.

That said, it depends on the Beast Buy manager. I had a GIANT hassle with this a few months back with PM'ing Max Payne. After calling their 1-800 customer service line (and reading the PM policy on the wall) inside BB, the manager was forced to do the PM.

EDIT: I read RtCW's single player is less than stellar. How is multiplayer over a 56K connection?

Scored at Best Buy! Pricematched to CC and used one of the print-out 10% preferred customer coupons to bring it down to $26.99 + tax. Multi-player rules!

Hey PatrickJ, my number was banned because it was from Usenet.

I just did the price adjustment with Best Buy with no problem. I did have to go to Circuit City first though to get the add. Thanks for the great deal, saved almost $30.00 with the price adjustment! They wouldn't take my Photo copy 10% off coupon though.

I have only been lurking around here for a week or so but have already picked up on the Maxtor 20GB 7200 rpm drive for $30 [after MIR] at OD, and the free 256MB [after MIR] at CompUSA. Man am I glad that I stumbled accross you guys. I just hope that I can return the favor some day.

Yeah I just picked this up from Fashion Island CC in newport beach. They had 2 left on the shelf. Sort of hard to find. But the guy who rung it up looked at the computer than the price on the box and said is that right? Thats a huge discount. And I was like and its a new game too. I was happy when I left. Thanks for bringing this deal to my attention.

I had a hell of a time getting best buy to price match for me. They had to call circuit city and check if it was in stock (this is the first time I seen them call for a advertised price). I guess they had him on hold because it took him 15 minutes for the call. He said they had in stock. Then the manager had to verifiy it, but he said he wasn't sure if it was the right item, so he goes to check on the computer, then he was bitching that best buys cost was 40 dollars. All this took 30 mins and that not including the time I spent in line. But I guess getting 29 dollars back was worth it.

Whohoo!!! Scored one as well for $29.99 - 10% off for $26.99. I had my surprise $75 GC with me, so I didn't have to pay anything, really. The first BB couldn't do it for me because CC didn't have it in stock, but the second BB did it because I had my ad in my hand, so they didn't call (thank God because it probably wouldn't be in stock). I also wanted to get extra 10% for PM, but she didn't want to give it to me. Regardless, great deal for $26.99. 50% retail rocks!!! :D

can't wait till my new rig is done so I can test drive this title on it! Plus, it'll be even cheaper then! I am glad to hear that this game is good... I was so afraid that it would suck. Yeah!

If you have an Electronics Boutique near you, PM it there. You can get a $10 Mail-In Coupon for most games that you purchase there. I've been doing this for the past 3 games that I've bought so far. Castle Wolfenstein cost me a grand total of $22 when I used a coupon I got from a previous game purchase plus I'll get another one in 8 weeks.

Also got in on PM at Besy Buy. I thought about driving to EB, but they are 25 minutes away, and BB is only 4 minutes. Not worth $10 MIR for 1 hour drive and mall hassles...

And, since I was at BB, thought I would help myself to some Altec Lansing speakers, discounted with the 10% coupon. Not a bad catch...

WHOHOO!

I wanted to use my 10% off at bby to get something else, and didn't want to wait for that LONG customer service line to pricematch, so I tested my luck and went to CC after going to BB. And guess what? They had one left on the shelf! I got the last one @ Circuit City Pasadena :). The guy said that they had like 14 this morning. *whew* i'm so lucky! :) Total came out to 32... not bad at all for a 50+ buck game. Thanks!
