Retro homescreen...

Spoooon

I thought some of you might get a kick out of a little project for my Droid 1 today.

I need to rework the minimalistic text widgets some, but I'm pretty happy with it. 🙂

edit: dang, 10000th post.

Please upload.

When I root after contract end, I will use this.

You might not need root to duplicate this. 🙂

Launcher: ADW EX
Widgets: Minimalistic Text (free version now lets you select fonts)
Font: some digital clock font that I googled for

8 rows, 9 columns on the home screen, allow overlapping widgets (I think the free version of ADW lets you do both, not sure about Launcher Pro)

3 Minimalistic Text widgets: Clock, AM/PM, date/weather

Basically, once you get your fonts sizes set, you just resize the various widgets to get it all in the right spot. It's kind of hard to explain. Once you start resizing some widgets and see how they move around, you'll get it.

The shortcuts are just regular shortcuts. ADW lets you change each individual icon.

Wallpaper is 960x854. I have the .xcf with everything on different layers and what not, so can resize some things if needed.
