Have any of you recently done hardware calibration on your monitor? I'm wondering if you could recommend tools and/or a faq that I should read about doing this. I bought a u2711 and a number of reviews say that hardware calibration provides a definite improvement in the display, but the reviews themselves don't really teach you how to do it, or what you should look for in order to do it.
2cAny word when the next Dell U241X will be out? That's basically when I am buying my next monitor. It's the only good 1920x1200 monitor out there for a price that is below $500. (With a good stand anyway)

Anything wrong with that Asus I posted above. It's under $500.

The ZR24w is under $500 as a pretty good 24" 1900x1200 IPS monitor. (http://www.officedepot.com/a/product...:referralID=NA)
It is 413.95 at Office Depot (about $100 cheaper than Newegg)

Why does there seem to be such a lack of good information on the internet about monitor advice for gamers.
The response times on monitors seems to be useless to look at. Everyone says TN panels suck, but then again, anything that isn't TN apparently has ghosting to some extent.
