Getting 120hz over a CRT monitor would be tough enough, but on an LCD it would have to be supported by the monitor and the connection.

Well my budget keeps going up.. So I finally decided to get a Toshiba 46XF550 and use that as the main monitor.
This thread over at avsforum will shed a little more light on the 120hz refresh rate thing, and how this is seperate from frame interpolation.

I'm actually going to mount it on the wall, then swing it out 90 degress when using the computer. The mount costs about $400, and the TV about $2500, but it can be had online for about $1800.
I had 120hz refresh rate on my old CRT from 7 years ago, and I do really do miss it. The difference is noticable
