Rep. Crenshaw posted to twitter about the attacks of John McCain and Republicans came forth to agree with him, like this -

and my favorite:

Thank you, Republicans for your class and your constant show of dignity and decency.

Raw Story link with more loving tweets.

well at least they arent sheep and have the balls to say something they disagree with within the party, unlike.....

I hope Crenshaw comes to realize that most Republicans only honor and respect conservative vets that side with them. Combover Caligula attacking the Gold Star family made it very clear that if a vet wants to be honored by conservatives then they better toe the party line. Step over that and you are the enemy.

His mistake is thinking that there is any decency left in his party. It's dead, Jim.. I mean, Dan. Shit, your party leader is attacking a dead guy.

OK I haven't heard or read what Trump said about McCain, but McCain was a very decent guy who served his country and I voted for him back when he ran.

Here ya go...

Demented man is demented... “A lot of people are asking, because they love me ..."

Regarding the Liar in Chief and his claiming to have consented to McCain's funeral at the National Cathedral, he lied again.

Jim Acosta
@Acosta
National Cathedral on Trump comments on McCain: “Only a state funeral for a former president involves consultation with government officials. No funeral at the Cathedral requires the approval of the president or any other government official.” 2/2

Granted I don't know nothing about Rep. Crenshaw but:

It's funny, the rep doesn't even explicitly disagree with Trump, he's just saying "let it go" and all the internet badasses go after him.

They made their bed, so let them lie in it...

To be fair, you can easily find 40k people that will say or believe just about anything online, so Twitter is likely not the best indicator of much of anything.

Republicans represent the most psychologically traumatized among us. Is it any wonder they don't take well to criticism? Imagine how they feel about some hero like McCain getting praise or the doofus they worship getting scorn.

Donnie has been going medieval on McCain, Crooked Hillary & the supposedly corrupt FBI over the Steele dossier. He's also been more than the usual bug fuck nuts over all the people conspiring to bring him down. Twitter. Facebook. Fake news. The atmosphere in the Trump White House has to be a lot like Hitler's bunker in the waning days of WW2.

I mean, the sooner he's dragged out of the White House, the better, but watching him squirm in the meanwhile is highly amusing. If he were half as smart as he thinks he is he would have realized that actually winning the Presidency is poison to a guy like him.

His lying is pathological. No matter the topic or it's level of importance, he will lie about it. He simply can't help himself. He was a crook before the dementia took hold, but it's probably playing a role too.

Maybe the plan is to keep him around as long as possible. Have the dope sign off on as much as possible, asap. When it's time to face the judge, he's immediately found mentally unfit to stand trial.

The more Trump gets his ass handed to him from his left hand to his right hand the more sensitive and thin skinned his supporters become knowing full well his self-inflicted humiliations will be broadcast to the world.

The more Trump screws up and gets criticized about it the more his supporters ignore what he did yet take extreme umbrage at what the media factually reported about it.

So if logic serves, Trump can screw up as much as he wants, when he wants, where he wants and how he wants and the media is supposed to only mention how handsome and forceful and manly he looked doing it.

Manly! So manly he can pick a fight with a dead guy & lose.

Actually the exact opposite, they're attacking Crenshaw for not being a sheep and for having the balls to say something. Which is also the same reason they attacked McCain and continue to attack him even now that he's dead. Because he dared to speak up and not be a Trump bootlicker.

I wrote our congressman (DeFazio) asking when they were going to do something about "... the crazy orange-tinted guy in the White House." He has categories that you can select to head your response with like Banking & Finance, Agriculture, Foreign Relations and so on.

I chose "Animals".

I never was a fan of McCain, but his loyalty to this country was entirely real. I believe him when he said this about the Steele dossier-

"I had an obligation to bring to the attention of appropriate officials unproven accusations I could not assess myself, and which, were any of them true, would create a vulnerability to the designs of a hostile foreign power," McCain and co-author Mark Salter wrote in the book. "I discharged that obligation, and I would do it again. Anyone who doesn't like it can go to hell."
