I just came back from my local TRU--they had a stack of these DVD's that said "free preview DVD" on the display. You can just grab one...

For those who got in on the $50 Voucher deal, I just received my coupon code today. It came via e-mail and it took about one week from the time I put the envelope in the mailbox. Not too bad of a turn-around. Now, what to spend it on......😕
 
Local Sams club has Super Mario Sunshine for $42.95 + tax. Not a bad deal comparing to $49.99 elsewhere. If you can have Bestebuy pricematch to Sams club (YMMV) and use the $5 off 19.99 coupon, you could get it for less than $40 after tax.
 
I saw a deal where you can buy get Metroid Prime for $29.99 if you buy a Gamecube. I might the platinum GC and get Metroid Prime or, I might try to get the Sunshine Pak and also Metroid Prime with the deal (if they allow that).

I'm trying to decide where I should buy Metroid Prime. $10 coupon digital coupon from Best Buy or $10 coupon from KB Toys (I'll probably do KB Toys since they have more games deals.. hopefully one w/ Zelda)....

Any other Metroid deals out there? 😛 I don't need any controllers or memory cards....

In the old Gamecube thread, someone mentioned a $20 coupon at EB for the purchase of a Gamecube and Metroid Prime. I haven't been there in a while, though, so I'm not confirming anything.
 
i have a $30 gift card for FYE... does anyone know if they have any good deals on games? I know their CDs are usually ~$5 more than other stores and was wondering if video games were the same. anyone know?

Just go to the store, and you'll find a sales flyer that has that deal. It seems that a lot of EBgames deals have to be done at the store. If it helps, I found the deal at River Valley Mall in Lancaster, Ohio.

This may not matter to most people, but I noticed that all the new platinum Gamecubes are made in China, as opposed to Japan where all the other Gamecubes are made. I did notice an Indigo Gamecube that was made in China though - it looks like they are moving production to China. I remember people mentioning that Japanese made Dreamcasts were quiter than the Chinese or Malaysian made Dreamcasts. I haven't been able to confirm that myself, and I actually doubt that it might make a difference for Gamecubes, given Nintendo's high standards of QC.

So you combined the deal with your platinum gamecube? or are you just telling us that you have a platinum gamecube?
