I can confirm that this is indeed the built by ATI, full sealed retail box version, not an OEM or powered by ATI.

Great deal!

while i agree with you there, by your logic, you should wait forever because this cycle never ends.

ex. i have been waiting for GF2 Ultra to price drop at $100 range, then the GF3 shows up. I am now waiting for GF3 to be at $100 range, then the GF4 comes up. now i am waiting for GF4 to $100 range.. then the Radeon 9700 shows up. wait till it drops to $100... BUT by the time it drops to $100, bunch of new cards will come out and you will want them instead of 9700 card. never-ending story.

anyway, i think over $100 for a videocard is wasting money. now days.. videocard values drop so quickly that i can't even keep up with it without losing money.

For me I do not wait till a card goes to $100...by then its way out of date anyhow...

I usually wait till it drops to the $200-220 range and I make sure I do my research and get a card that overclocks very well.

With my last card I got a Radeon 8500LE 64 meg card 14 months ago and slapped my own custom made heatsink/fan and ram sinks then flashed to retail and was happy as a clam hehe

Me either sgt. 😛 When the card drops to $100, then it should be posted in hot deals....

You and Sgt are both just thread crapping, go away.

No they are not thread crapping, just showing thier ignorance, bump for a HOT deal.

Saying "I don't consider paying over $300 for a video card a hot deal" is thread crapping in my book when the retail cost of that card is $400.
