My peeve is when I pay with my CC... They would take the card, swipe it, put/lean it on top of the register keys and then hand it back to me with the receipt. Sometimes they would forget and I have to ask for it back. Just swipe the damn thing and give it back immediately, you have no more use for it.

Is it really that hard to grab the middle of the cash so it doesnt fall?
Yes, when you have your open wallet in one hand and your purchase in the other, it is quite inconvenient.

When a cashier does this I just let all the change fall all over the counter and leave it. Hopefully a quarter rolls off the counter and under the counter or something for extra lulz.

It's like when you're at a drivethru, you pull up and pay. They hand you your change, drink, and bag all in rapid succession - not enough hands to deal with it all. You're still in the middle of putting your card/cash back into your wallet and they're holding the drink out the window, staring at you while you fumble.

wtf is cash? Plastic... learn it, love it. Even with the dollar menu at the drive-thru.
