I know GeForce Ti is the best and MX is the bottom line.

Where I can find the chart for Geforce system?
I mean the number from top to bottom.

Thanks.

geforce sdr < geforce ddr < geforce2mx200 < geforce2mx < geforce2mx400 < geforce2gtsv < geforce2gts < geforce2pro < geforce2ultra < geforce3ti200 < geforce3 < geforce3ti500 < geforce4 < geforce5......

Looks like a Hot Deal,
but I don't see this model on the MSI manual page:
VGA manuals
Just wanted to make sure they're still updating their support for it.
😀
EDIT: I think it's related to the 8831.
Neither one shows a heat sink in their picture, but I think the 8831
has 64mb memory.
😕

geforce sdr < geforce ddr < geforce2mx200 < geforce2mx < geforce2mx400 < geforce2gtsv < geforce2gts < geforce2pro < geforce2ultra < geforce4mx420 < geforce4mx440 < geforce3ti200 < geforce3 < geforce3ti500 < geforce4ti4200 < geforce4ti4400 < geforce4ti4600

here's the corrected chart

avoid all geforce MX flaovrs

geforce2 gts-v 46 at newegg.com is your best bang for the buck. of course, this card will be outdated for the latest games early next year.

geforce3 ti200 is the optimum card currently. ~$120. should last u 2 years

geforce4 ti4200 is will be the next optimum card when it comes out in bulk and price drops. currently slated to ship in may/june and priced @ $199 msrp. should last u 3+ years since no game right now has directX 8 extensions.

anyway, anandtech just came out w/a video card guide.

Good deal, but you can get a Gigabyte card with the same specs for $10 less here. AxionTech has much better ResellerRatings too.

Althoug shipping is kinda high for the GF2pro card ($8.75 to FL), this seems to be a really good deal, since, from the data above, the pro card is better than the GTS card at newegg.

Anyone have any experience with this card?

Aaron

I did some checking on the Gigabyte at their site, to see what ram speed is used, etc. They only show a 64mb version and don't show a 32mb version or even the 32mb plain GTS card seen in this review.......

http://active-hardware.com/english/reviews/video/ga-gf2000.htm

So what is it? A GTS or a Pro, or a GTS Pro?

Still didn't find any ram specs other than babbling about DDR SDRAM vs DDR SGRAM in the test linked by rondeemc.

Is the Axiontech site a typo?

Why is there a ~ after the word Retail Box?

Axion had a 5.7 of 7 at the old resellerratings, now it's sky high - 8.x of 10. Seems odd in such a short time it has gone up.

Also noticed this info at Axion..........

GIGABYTE:GF-2010 32MB,GEFORCE2 PRO,32MB DDR,RETAIL BOX~ VIGAGF201032 LIMITED $128.95
GIGABYTE:GF2010DT32,GEFORCE2 PRO,32MB DDR,TV OUT,RETAIL BOX~ VIGAGF20103T LIMITED $49.95

Something seems fishy about this $49 card. No picture shows either. The description of the $128 version is similar.

Using google search, for the exact 2010DT32 number, I got a bunch of romanian sites.

wheres the fan??
don't these chips get HOT!!!

I've already got Geforce 32meg DDR Geforce 2 GTS 32DDR & a Geforce 3 Ti200 64Meg
they all look about the same playing counterstrike (all respond fast and look great!!)
even have a TNT1 16meg (asus V3400) that looks great too (hesitates sometimes though during heavy graphics)
of couse the frames per seconds is faster on the newer cards , but I can still snipe you just as fast with the TNT1 as with the Geforce 3 (especially if you stink at CS) LOL....

I'm trying to build a new PC for video editing, and I'm lost when it comes to the Nvidia cards...

Anyone know which of these (if any) supports dual monitors? I'm looking for a sub-$150 card that'll support 2 monitors and get me to where I'm going videowise (I'm not a big gamer).

<< What about the GeForce2Ti 450 and GeForce2Ti 500XP? >>

aren't those the Gainward special models? If those are the ones you're talking about, they are pretty much hyped up gf2ti200 cards i believe (if my memory serves me right). They overclock very well and have the potential to perform at near gf2ultra speeds.

From my experience and from what I've seen others report, the Gainward GF2 Ti450 hits 300/500 easily(the Ultra is clocked at 250/460)

ug...that link to axiontech for the geforce2 pro for $50 is no longer works 🙁

hm..is that a msi starforce geforce2 gts pro??
