Pretty good since an oem version is about $305 at newegg, even if you have to mess with a rebate. And I thought hl2 was still delayed till next year...![]()

What location in the US? Just curious, didn't see anything listed in my Saturday paper...and it doesn't reflect a $50 MIR online.
This would be hot to PM to CC!!!

HL2 is delayed til next year, think april, b/c some hackers got their source codes
meanwhile they say the HL2 voucher that is included with the pro/XT cards will also fetch you the original HL with all the expansions as well through steam
gg hackers. i consider this saving me an investment to get a 9800 from a GF3 in order to play it...

Why is that? Last time I looked, CC don't PM rebates. So you only would get the 10% difference between their cost, and BB cost, which is not $50.

Hmmm. Maybe YOUR CC doesn't PM rebates, I've never had any problems whatsoever...Lucky Me! So, In my case, it would be an additional $5.00 off, with no rebate hassle. TAAADAAA!Originally posted by: Elixer

Is it a sale or a special offer? To get around "bait and switch" sometimes Best Buy puts out great prices, calls them "special offers" with a little asterisk at the bottom that says "quantity limited" and sends out 1 or 2 per store. I haven't really noticed this in a few years, but I drove an hour a couple of times to have them "sold out" already with no rain checks offered on a few really good deals.

If your CC PMs rebates, your one lucky SOB! Last time I talked to the manager, they said "No, CC will ever do this.".
