That petition is about a YEAR LATE and whining, "DC's a great system. Let it live!" indicates that the writer doesn't understand a lick about business and the need to make SOME MONEY AT IT! (Public schools have really failed.)

I saw a bunch of games at Meijer's (midwest mega-market chain) for $9.99: Seaman, Crazy Taxi, Sonic Adventure and many more. They had some stuff for regular prices, too.
 
What is the best light gun to get? I just picked up House of the dead 2 and the controller kind of sucks..

Actually there was a petition to save it last January. To all the petition people, when has an online ptition ever got anything done? It's not like I'm not williing to sign, since it takes 15 seconds of my time, but really here.
 
I posted that there were a lot of cheap games at Meijer's.

Hey, I'm not happy that they've killed the DC. I had the misfortune of buying one THREE WEEKS before they axed it and cut the price $50! I look at the game mags and see all the sequels, like DOA3 and Jet Set Radio Future and the Space Channel Five sequel go to other platforms and Shenmue 2 not even coming to America and it ticks me something fierce.:|
 
Anyone seen a copy of Gauntlet Legends anywhere. I have been looking everywhere and cannot find one. I have it for the N64, but am phasing that out, in favor of the DC and my new XBOX. I would appreciate anyone's help locating one.

I have the Interact Starfire, and like it pretty well. I've tried a friend's Mad Catz Dream Blaster, and I'd like to get one, but mine does the job.
 
Shroom, I spotted Gauntlet Legends in a Software Etc. in NYC (W 85th St or so) a week or two ago. New, at $35. If it had been cheaper, I would have grabbed it for myself.
 
Thanks oboeguy! Unfortunately that is a bit out of the way. I live in SC. Gamestop does have some used in stock on the web for that though. Anyone else seen them.

I picked up the MadCatz light gun for $15 last week at EBGames.com and it's excellent with House of the Dead 2.
 
Does anyone know if you can price match EB games B&M to their online prices? I think I saw this MC light gun at a EB boutique for $25. What's crazy is that this was at one of the biggest outlet malls in the US (Gurnee Mills in Gurnee, IL).

Outlet Malls.. What a farse.. Their prices are as high or higher than other retail stores most of the time unless it's for something that nobody wants. It's still not marked down that much IMO. Did you guys know that some manufacturers even make lines specifically for their outlet stores? Prices are still high, but the quality is less.

It amazes the hell out of me that they can manage to bus people in from other states just to shop at this mall.. Nuts!

From the looking around on the net I've done, the MC Dream Blaster is the light gun to get. I have one and it works great, except I cannot get it to calibrate for Confidential Mission. It shoots about 6" too low on that game. Anyone else have the same problem?

Speaking of malls, the Mall of America is nuts. People fly and stay here for weekend shopping trips. The population of the mall on the weekends is over 100,000 at any given time. And now they're expanding it.
 

I would still like to get a dreamcast, does anyone know of any in Minnesota? I called around to bestbuys, Sears, KBtoys, etc....
 
Damn... I just went to EB game's site and don't see the Dream Blaster. I hope that it isn't gone for good. I even did a search on Fleabay and didn't come up with anything. One guy did a practice auction selling it (whatever that is.. )

I do see the Sega branded gun. Is this any good?

I live a stone's throw from Gurnee Mills and it's crazy around Christmas. I hate it really.. I'm sort of out in the burbs away from all the traffic and they had to build this monstrosity in the middle of a corn field. Traffic bites now in the winter and the summer. We also have Great America theme park here, so it's crazy. I have all my friends know the back roads to get to my place, so they don't get caught in the traffic jam coming up I94 during summer weekends.

Anyway.. LMK on the guns if you would? I think I'm going out to try and track down the MadCatz gun tonight. At least I will have one even if I can't find it cheaper some place else. Hopefully, they are still at the EB games B&M I saw them at a week or so ago.

Sorry to post again so soon, but can someone please confirm for me that EB Games.com no longer has the Mad Catz Dreamblaster on their site? I just want to make sure that I'm not pulling a bone headed move while searching their site.

This may be a repost, but I didn't see it on the Big List.

I purchased Sonic Adventure brand new today at Target for $4.94.

Great deal, but another reminder that Dreamcast really is dying! 🙁

Looks like they're all out.

A local B&M EB might have one still. Might be worth it to call around.
