Yeah, just add something to your cart and you'll see it there, it even says on their Dreamcast homepage "Any Item". Another nice deal at KB, they have packages with free Sega Sports T-Shirts for all the 2k2 sports games.

Tennis 2k2 for $39 + Free T-shirt, controller, VMU, not too shabby.

Sega made it so you have to pay $10/month to play their online games on Sega.net. Pretty crappy if you ask me. Used to be free :(

PSO obviously not included since you pay for that already.

Oh, you got to be kidding me!! :( I just bought Virtua Tennis at EBGames... and I could've gotten a free controller and VMU for $2 more. sigh.

Ah well, thanks comprotech for that excellent headsup! Maybe there's something else that I would want. ;)

If you signed up for the E-Toys newsletter and got the 10 off 30 coupon, you can get three $9.99 games, free controller + VMU for $24.76 shipped. Subtotal was 29.97, but it applied the coupon anyway. Not bad for three games, a Sega controller and VMU. :D

Thanks for pointing out the ChuChu Rocket. I am surprised that of all places JC Penney has provided me deals on the controllers and now this game. Maybe their other games will be reduced soon.

Just making sure you guys know....

Funcoland/Gamestop has preowned sega brand and generic brand 4X memory cards for 8.99.
I went yesteday and picked up one of them--has many more blocks than my 2 VMUs (heh, i already filled those up)

Does the VMU and control appear in your shopping cart at checkout? If so, I'm not getting it. Also the link states any console again. Cna any one confirm?

When I ordered yesterday, both the VMU/controller appeared as 1 added item with a value of $0. Better order fast, as this will run out quick.

So was it a mistake? I don't think it's a mistake since it actually processed the order. Oh well.

Got in on that KB deal. Now.. What the hell am I going to do with 15 controllers and 15 VMU's? ;)

A question about the VMU's. You guys talk about filling them up. Is there any way to erase them once they're filled?

Here's one way: Turn your DC on with no disc in it. You'll get a menu that includes a choice for looking at any attached mem unit. You can see how much is on a mem card, and what game the mem belongs to. Makes it easy to selectively delete only what you need to.

Didn't the link say that all along, but it was giving it on any program purchase? I wonder if they will honor this, even on orders taken.

TallGeese:

Thank you Sir for all of your hard work you have put into this thread. I first saved it to my desktop in early December, only to forget about it until right after Christmas. I had been *meaning* to get more DC stuff since about August. :)

Thanks to your list I was able to order and have received or have confirmed shipment of:

VGA Box (EBGames.com $14.99)
RGB cable (EBGames.com $4.99)

2x extra controllers (buy.com $12.99)
3x Rumble Pack (Buy.com $7.99)
Rumble Rod (Buy.com $11.99) (Arrives Monday! :D)

3x VMU (Amazon.com $9.99 - Too lazy to drive to BB :D)

This also is to let people know that I ordered a Rumble Rod, a seemingly hard to find item right now, from buy.com last week and, although they said they were out of stock, they did find and ship me one.

Thank you again TallGeese. You are a gentleman and a scholar ... a quite a deal hunter. ;)

Edits: Fixed typos. Guess I'm not a scholar!

Yes it did, but the main page had different wording which stated "any DC item."

I didn't get in on this deal (not a fan of the Sega controller...enjoy the skin on my left thumb too much ;)), but it sounds like it will happen for those who ordered.

I'm glad the thread has been helpful to you.
I've received many messages from many other people as well, expressing thanks for this thread.

But, I have to give credit where credit is due...everybody who read, commented, sent suggestions, and (most of all) sent in great prices they found are the real reason this thread is nearly 775 posts long.

So everybody, take a bow. You deserve it!
*clap clap*

I am wondering about This

How does that VGA cable work? do you need that box? I would be interested in getting that VGA cable if it comes right out of the DC to the VGA. How does the sound work? I didn't see how that seems to plug into a Reciever or anything....
