My local Sears had Shenmue and a number of other decent games for $19.99, a few lame games for $9.99, and a couple still at $29.99 or $39.99 (Daytona and DOA2 or Virtua Fighter I think.) Probably 50 games total, a stack of maybe 20 keyboards marked $24.99, Performance rumble packs for $19.99, controllers $19.99. I even asked the guys at the counter in that department if the prices marked were correct. They said yes. I guess I'll stop back in a week or two and see if anything has been reduced.

I'm still unsure about this whole VGA and lightgun thing. I found a bunch of posts on BBS's claiming that the gun is very accurate on the monitor with VGA adapter, yet I can't get the dang thing to work! I'm starting to wonder if my lightgun isn't faulty perhaps...:frown:

Salvador: Gamestop is where I got TXR2. IT is awesome. Lots of fun . Even though it is not very challenging , but the driving is pretty good unlike Sega GT which funcoland bought off me for $10, I only paid $7 for it at BB
From what I have read and seen I would pass on TXR1 , I heard from several people that is is pretty bad.

so guys , is the rumble pack or tremor pack whatever they call it , worth it ?

I have no personal experience with the rumble pack or whatever they call it, but if it's like the rumble pads that Logitech and MS make for their pc controllers, I would think that it would have to suck.

I bought a Logitech rumble pad one time thinking that I would get a force feedback effect, but all I got was numb hands from the thing vibrating wildly. It added absolutely nothing to the gameplay.

Please fill me in too on how the rumble pack is on the Dreamcast. If it's like what I explained above, I will certainly forget about it.

Before I make an ass out of myself and try to take Sonic Adventure back to Circuit City and have them PM the game to last weeks price of $6.99, does anyone know if the $6.99 was a sale price from last week for Sonic Adventure?

BTW.. I called Gamestop and they would not adjust the price from last week. I paid $35.99 for my game with a 10% off coupon that they sent me, but the game's regular price was $39.99. They said that they couldn't price match this weeks price. Pissheads! Where's the return dept?

Okay, we've spent several hours over the last couple days playing various racing games head to head, using 2 wheels (plus 2 more standard controllers at times). It works great. We've played MSR, Re-Volt, LeMans 24-Hour Racing, and a couple others I can't remember right now.

So if you're considering buying a second MC2, I'd say go for it. Personally, I'm considering buying two more, because 4-person racing is pretty cool.


And BTW, my MadCatz light guns work fine with my HDTV.

Not sure if this is a hot deal, Sears has Sega Rally 2 for $9.99 (Gamespot gave it a 8.8 review). They also had The Grinch for $9.99. BTW, Sega Rally 2 has awesome graphics.

I'll post the Rally 2 price (GREAT game!) but VERY reluctantly, since most folks' experience with Sears prices has NOT been good.

Last I checked, my local B&M was still wanting some LUDICROUS amount (like $39.99 :|) for Sega Rally 2.

Which VGA adapter do you use? And Monitor? This is really frustrating. House of the Dead 2 looks SOOOO sweet on my monitor, if only I can get the gun working!

I think its a nationwide sale. They had bright yellow sale tags under those games. I'm not too fond of sears pricing either.

I played house of the dead 2 and confidential mission on my Decaview 17" monitor. The VGA box is Madness gameware (14.99 at EB). I really want to play silent scope with it but it doesn't even recognize my gun

I have a Blaze VGA adapter and a Madness brand and I can't decide which one to keep. Does anyone know if one is better than the other? The Blaze is $5 more ($20), so if they are absolutely the same thing, I don't see keeping the more expensive one.

I know that it's been posted that these VGA adapters are very simple and they are all pretty much the same thing (with the exception of the Performance with pass-through), but someone just told me that he has a Treamcast VGA adapter and it allows me to use non Dreamcast discs like GT2 (Bleemcast) on my VGA monitor. Do you guys know if this is true or not with the Treamcast VGA adapter?

so I bought a whole bunch of DC games (approx 50) without knowing what was good or not. Now as I weed through them I'm trying to decide what to keep and what to return, I went to gamespot (games were reviewed individually) so I thought I'd post a rated list here to help everyone decide what to buy/keep/return. (I hope the formatting is okay).

I think this is pretty close to the entire DC library (not including imports), I'd be interested to know of other good games not on the list.

Please don't flame if you think the game should have been rated higher/lower, it's based on the reviewer's individual preferences. I'd be interested in knowing which are the must have games though.
