25 x 17 = 425 ft sq

32ft sq per ton at 2"

Typical price for the paving on a job that small, including the asphalt? $2.50/foot sq

Prep work for paving?

Remove 13 tons existing asphalt and dispose, add crushed rock to base to fix puddling and regrade.
Two men, backhoe, truck for 6 hours, dump fee for disposal = $800 or so.

Somebody in your area should be able to meet that, and get a fresh driveway for less than 2 grand.

I know my employer could do that with union operators.
