You are missing an objective. First thing, after contact info should be one long sentence stating what job you are looking for. This can be tailored to each company you apply to. You need to let people know what it is you want, state you're bussiness.

An objective isn't as necessary as it once was, and is predominately a carry-over from resume styles of olde.

I typically state the objective section is an optional component, as long as objectivesque information is included in a well written cover letter.

i guess the objective tells the employer what one is looking for in life, correct?
and i need to align my career objective with what the employer is looking for, that would mean having a different career objective for each job.

i guess this is a genric objective and i would have to modify it

Objective: A full-time professional engineering position that utilizes my extensive knowledge, challenges my creativity, and allows an opportunnity for success and growth in a team-based work environment.

a lot of my colleagues say that even if you have researchjed or worked on something for a day, you got to mention that on your rsuem, i geuss that would depend on how much weight that subject holds in a resume.

i guess if one goes for a resume reviewing service then one needs to mention that one is in the uk and needs a 2 page resume, i guess there would be resume reviewing services which are good for the uk market and ones good for the us market. do you guys know what is the format for the far east/asia

if i am to apply for the role of a product manager,pre-sales consultant or a software developer. i guess i would have to come up with three different resumes for the three different roles. do i simpy reorder some of the experience i have or do i need to add(glorify) some of the experience in order to make my resume more geared towards the appropraite role

some one told me that it is ok to drop my nationality and DOB from my resume

i also have a clean driving license, do i need to include it.

You don't want any of that on your resume.

From what you posted earlier it seems that you have way too much text. Get rid of those paragraphs. Nobody is going to sit there and read that.

Again, cannot speak for international practices, but this is quite simply unacceptable in the States.

All three items mentioned above should never be included.

Nationality and DOB would only cause discrimination problems.

Clean driving record is only worthwhile if you're applying to be a truck driver or something that requires a whole lot of driving.
