Resume' question

I am a computer science major looking for full time employment upon graduation in the spring. What is a good statement for the objective section of my resume? I am looking for a "tech job"... consulting, IT department, etc., what's a good general statement?

Interested in Full Time position, where my skills and education will add value and quality.

Personally I would skip the objective statement as you dont want to use the current template style like everyone else. OR you could write in hacker lingo. Just as dumb.

I agree the objective is dumb, unless you're looking for something unpaid internship or free assistance, everyone knows the objective 😀

objectives and hobbies....2 things i hate to see on resumes hehe

Either:
(a) tailor your objective to the specific company and position.
(b) just drop it as suggested above -- a bland all-purpose objective doesn't tell the reader anything.

I'm a lead developer rather than HR though: that's what I preferred when I was wading through piles of developer applications at my old job, but (b) might not be perfect advice for getting past HR in a large company.
