I really want to work in the wireless industry, so I've tailored my grad education towards that goal. Does the resume appeared too cluttered/some stuff that I should remove? Also, how do you write a text based resume -- should I just remove the formatting and keep the content the same, because text resumes usually offer more space than the standard 1 page. Or should I add some more stuff like searchable terms or something. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

it looks pretty decent to me, except I'd remove the objective.

yep, that's what a cover letter is for

I disagree. Having done the resume building and job search thing 9 months ago no one ever told me to remove my objective, including the writing professor who had me draft it several times and the career services counselor who reviewed it.

I updated my resume with a few changes. Anybody have any pointers on how to write a plain text resume? Also, when I go to a career fair I'll have copies without the objective for other companies that aren't in my desired field..
