Yesterday there was a pretty large storm in our area. It's tornado season, and we've been getting used to the sirens going off with warnings to take cover. We checked the weather on the TV, then returned to dinner. All of a sudden there were some incredibly strong winds and hail; the windows were shaking violently and the ice balls could be heard hitting the roof. It was the loudest gust of wind I'd heard in 17 years of living here. Everyone in the house plus all of our neighbors immediatelly ran across the street to take cover (there's only one house with a basement out of 5 houses in this part of the neighborhood). As we were running out of the house, a huge tree branch went flying down the street :disgust:

Damage: ------Pictures------

-Our largest tree, aged at over 115 years, got split in half.
-A fairly large branch covered 3/4 of our driveway, landing on our Honda Accord. There are several minor scratches. It ripped off the license plate + mount. No major dents though.
-One of our fences took a strong hit.
-Many shingles flew off one side of our garage.

Note: The pics won't last long. I imagine you all will eat up the bandwidth in a matter of minutes.
