Hi all,
Two questions:
1. I am installing a larger hd on one of my systems. I have a drive image that was taken from my old drive that I would like to use to restore everything to my new drive. Given this is the only hardware change, will this be ok?
2. I have updated the bios on this system since creating the image. Will this create a problem?

I do it all the time. It should work great.

What image software did you use?

Used Drive Image Pro 4.0.
I now have Norton Ghost 2002 for my new XP machine. Which do you prefer?

That shouldn't be a problem

As far as drive image versus ghost, i'd say it's hard to argue, because they're both really good programs. I'd say if you're used to drive image, then stick with what works

That's what I use too, DI4. It will be a piece of cake.

Having now used both...created and restored with DI and recently created an image with Ghost it seems that DI is a little more intuitive in the interface. That's the only thing I noticed.
Seems to me that disk imaging software should be part of the os...cheap insurance IMO.
