Sushi. Not a specific place and not all the time. But once in a while, maybe 25% of the time, within 30 minutes I better be by a toilet b/c like Cartman says in the episode where he pretends to have tourette's I get a major "Pi$$ out the a$$!"

Next Restaurant's 1901 Paris menu did this. I extrapolate that to mean most French restaurants would/could. Not only did I have GI distress, but I had phantom duck smells for two days -- that, or my sweat was actually emitting duck aroma. Totally worth it.

Hmm... but now that I think about it, it might also have to do with the 3 cocktails next door plus wine pairing leading to serious inebriation by the end of the night.

Skyline chili.

Cast iron stomach and colon. I eat it all. But, I never nor will I ever eat at taco bell. Dunno why, but in my 45 years of life I never went into a TB and now its like a way life. Popeyes chicken in NY gives all my peers the squats but has never affected me.

Mostly the same here. I grew up living in dirty third-world countries (State Department family) so I think that made my stomach immune to anything short of food that's started to rot.

I avoid low-end fast food in general. I'm not health nut, but if I'm going to eat something that's godawful for me I want it to be delicious.

I think a lot of people have food allergies and don't realize it. If people are saying grease makes them shit, then maybe it's time to ask why that is.

Nothing really makes me sick. I love hot sauce, I love milk products, I love grease. None of it makes me sick.

Hot sauce doesn't make me sick, but too many jalapenos or other hot peppers in food can make the next time I take a shit really painful. It's a good thing I'm not gay because I think I have a very delicate ass.

I thought the thread title was "restaurants that give you shit;" there's a small pizza place here in town where the workers are specifically instructed to harrass the customers. They literally take your order by saying "what the fuck do you want?" It's pretty awesome. Never got the shits from eating there though...

Thai curry eaten alongside a large quantity of beer will make me shit in quantities the human bowel shouldn't be capable of producing.

heat receptors respond to capsaicin as well. you have the same heat receptors on your tongue as you do on your anus.

capsaicin doesn't digest.

so of course, if it's hot going in, it's gonna be hot coming out.

I think the deal is that you're only supposed to eat hot sauce with lots of fat. The chemical that tastes hot is very soluble in oil but low solubility in water. If you're not eating anything oily/fatty for it to dissolve in, the hot stuff will go to the stomach walls and hurt. Then it burns all the way down. If there's a bunch of oil in your stomach, the hot stuff will slowly be released as you digest the oil.

It also seems like most of the people with stomach problems drink carbonated drinks with their meals instead of drinking juice or milk. I drink chocolate milk with everything, so that might be one of the reasons I never get sick.

No food or restaurant always does that to me, but if I drink too much vodka or scotch, there better be a clear path to the bathroom the next morning.

Claim Jumpers restaurant chain. The portions are so incredibly massive you absolutely have to have a huge crap afterward, but always worth it.

I won't eat anywhere that gives me the shits. I'll give them a second try just to make sure it wasn't a one time deal, but if I get it again, fuck that.

shit now I know who to contact if I have visa issues 😛

Not a resturant but something I make at home. Its a cheese/salsa dip. Sooo freaking good but, I know that within the next 2-4 hours I will paint the town brown.

Not the shits, but there's a great middle eastern restaurant in Minneapolis called the Java that always gives me hours and hours of garlic burps. I love it anyway.
