Beware of Restaurant.com (without s, not Restaurants.com, which my friend own), it has frequent report of selling coupons that the restaurant not honor, and is being investigated by Department of Justice for that.

How do I know? My friend from Restaurants.com (with s) told me that people call all the time about this problem and actually was mis-contacted by DOJ on this issue.

If basing solely on the website design alone, I'd say it looks like you have it backwards. restaurants.com looks like a piece of doo doo. Tell your friend to hire a web designer...

Holy crap, since when did posting warning a target of being full of $hit? It is like saying TigerDirect is risky will get you egged on the face.

I am not making this up, but if you don't believe thats fine. If you want detail email restaurants.com's admin/owner, he is doing this part time only and his name is Ming Chow.

Questioning for proof is good, but calling someone full of $hit is extremely disrespectful!

A few local restaurants have coupons up on this site.
I have used 5 coupons from restaurant.com there in the last 3 months, never a problem.

Since the certificates print out have a nice sized Sysco Foodservice logo on them, i am going to make a guess that restaurant.com is a marketing partner with them, and the restaurants see a reimbursment of the coupon costs through Sysco.

i just used another today at an indian place in nyc. i'm stuffed..... it was way too much food for the seafood special meals
