ok XP is totaly screwed, i will be playing Diablo2 or looking at some internet stuff or chatting on ICQ then suddenly BOOM i have no internet like wtf?!?!

i walk over to my Celeron500 across the room which has Windows 98 SE on it to see if my dad lost internet too, nope, he's still looking at stocks and reading articles on the net and downloading music on morpheus

ok so maybe i just restart my computer
*restart the computer*- hey my internet works!
(10 minutes later) hey wtf my internet is gone!

i have to restart the computer every 10 minutes pretty much so wtf is the deal?!?!

my system is as follows:
Athlon XP 1700+ (1466mHz)
Gigabyte 7VTXE motherboard
KT266A chipset
512MB DDR RAM
60GB Maxtor 5400RPM HDD
same D-link ethernet card as my Celeron so this is not the problem

my internet is setup like this:
internet comes from the wall to my DSL modem, then to my 8 port HUB 1 connection to my Athlon and 1 connection to my Celeron (not a network style setup, both computers can connect to intnet but not share files or connect to each other)
i manualy set my IP on this computer as the same IP on my celeron but the last number is 1 bigger, same DNS thing as Celeron

What is the problem???
*as a side note, while typing this out i lost internet so i saved this in notepad so i could restart my computer*

I connect to the net via dual ISDN and I get nearly the same problem, except, that this occurs randomly. When I get out of the room to pour me some coffee or something I don't have access to the Internet anymore, when I come back!
