i got a great deal on an 831.

since i'm using a VoIP provider for my telephone, i'd let to setup the 831 for QoS. unfortunately, i don't have any idea how to do so. i've scoured some cisco documentation, but there's a few things that i don't know, otherwise their usually good documentation would make perfect sense.

does anyone know of a primer, and some additional material that can get me up to speed with this task?

i shelved this project and now i'm back.

been scouring cisco's site for a bit and i haven't found exactly what i'm looking for. they examples they give are for switches. i don't know how different my setup is going to be since i'm using an 831.

anyone else have any other recommendations for primers?

Look here and select the version of IOS that you are running. From there look for the QoS module. I would think you would be able to do it by IP address of your VOIP box. So, it should not be to difficult.
