<<RESOLVED>> Is there something wrong with the digital mode on my BenQ FP937s?

Hi All,

I just picked up a store demo of the BenQ FP937s yesterday and have been having a little bit of difficulty getting a signal to the monitor with the DVI cable connected. It gets a signal fine with the analog cable.

I have tried two different DVI cables, so it's unlikely that that both cables are faulty.

I have tried to select the DVI option on the LCD's Input Selector menu, but it doesn't seem to work. When I go back into that menu after selecting DVI, it appears to still be set to DSUB.

I don't have the monitor in front of me at the moment because I'm at work, but wanted to know if anyone has any insight into this "problem".

Thanks!

Of course, one thing I haven't tried is completely powering down the machine, connecting the DVI and re-powering.

Could that be it?

Most video card drivers should automatically select DVI, but you may need to manually select it under yoru particular video card properties.

I powered down my PC, connected the monitor using the DVI cable, powered up and voila...the monitor is now receiving the digital signal.

PROBLEM SOLVED.

(FYI, my video card is a PowerColor Radeon 9550.)
