[RESOLVED] Excel 2003

This one has me stumped. 😕

I've made one of the sheets in my excel workbook as the front-page of sorts. It's a brief overview of the data in the other sheets.

I know it's possible to lock up the sheet so that no-one will modify it, but I want to make an exception for 2 cells. To write in a name and date.

Any ideas?

Before anyone suggests google, in all respect, I've been googling around all day to figure out how to display the data on my front-page. (I found most of the answers I was looking for) And at the moment, I'm just a bit worn out.

uncheck 'locked' on the protection tab of the properties of the two cells you want 'unprotected' (use Control-1 to see the properties)

then protect the entire worksheet
