I'm on DirecTV's side with this one. Comcast can keep their shitty channels, I'll stick with DirecTV.

It's not just Fox they're feuding with. They're also fighting with Belo, who owns roughly a dozen major network affiliates in various cities, as Belo wants to charge service providers a hefty price to carry their affiliates.

Echostar owns Dish Network.

The exact same thing with all Fox affiliated channels happened with Dish, they struck that midnight deal though and we kept the programming. They'll probably do the same with Direct.

news had a large minority, but sold their interest to liberty media in exchange for liberty's interest in news corp. seems like liberty has been divesting itself of directv as well.

They might have resolved it, but how much is that going to cost me now. It would be nice if you could just pick the channels you want and screw the rest. There are many channels I have that I never watch.
