Seriously, think about it. A CRT needs refresh because the pixels aren't "always on" like an LCD can be. CRT pixels must be refreshed by the electron guns to stay illuminated, LCD pixels do not...Originally posted by: BoYRaCeR
Uhhh... LCD refresh rates don't mean jack... 60Hz looks the same as 75Hz. What really sucks is the response time... that's what you should be worried about. If anything 60Hz is probably optimal for LCDs... because they don't refresh like CRTs.
