Didn't get too much love in the software section, hoping someone in ATOT can help out.

I have 2 images sized 2048x1536, I'm using Photoshop to resize it to a smaller size.
-Image Size --> disable 'resample image'
-Change width=1inch and height automatically changes 0.75 and resolution goes up to 2048pixels/inch. This will yield a better print out right?

Now when I create a new file, and set the canvas size to width=10inch and height=4inch - How come the 2 picture takes up the whole canvas? Shouldn't they just be 1inch by 0.75inch? Print preview shows the two pictures taking up the 10inx4in.

Any suggestions?

I use Paint Shop Pro, but I imagine it's similar. When I use browse and get all the thumbnails I can print from there, and it looks just like the browse window.

Why don't you use the preview feature?

The above was just an extreme example, the desire size I want is 3in x 4in, any suggestions how I can convert the 2048x1536 image to a 3x4in image?

Image -> Image Size

Uncheck the box for Resample Image
Change the Resolution to 300
Check the box for Resample Image
Change Width to 6 (assuming that it is a landscape image and not portrait)

The height should be 4.5

Click OK.

That's all there is to it.

What exactly are you trying to do here? What's your main goal here with everything?
