I realize they're not great movies, but I like them anyways.
 
Why do we get into these debates every time something like this comes out?

Nobody goes to a RE, Blade, etc. franchise film expecting a cinematic masterpiece. If you go into it expecting violence, gore, and some zombie nudity you will probably get exactly what you wanted.

its going to be about mindless fun! the commercials look pretty cool. i'll wait for DVD though.

 
I saw it last week.

If you enjoyed the previous two you will like this one. It really is just a simple zombie gorefest action movie like the first two.

I think we get spoiled with epic movies and expect too much out of other ones too much. There are some seriously awful movies out there, but RE is at least worth watching once.
 
People enjoy the first one better than the 2nd? The 2nd movie actually had some resemblance to the games themselves. Showing one of the resident evil bosses as well as one of the main characters. Both were ridiculous fun though and I'll see the 3rd for the same reason.

Same here. I own about a dozen movies, and these are two of them. Something about Milla kicking zombie ass I guess. 😀

 
I know studios now-a-days are trying to do trilogies based on the release and dvd money they are taking in, but I wonder why they are ending the series now. Could have milked a couple more movies out of the setting getting the relatively low budget and the income they're making on it.
 
I'll be going to see it tomorrow, and I'm making the wife watch the first two so she'll know what is going on. 😀
 
Resident Evil: Apocalypse is on TNT right now. Is it even worth watching the edited version? I didn't enjoy the first.
