Question Resets/reboots with no crash dump (another weird problem)

That's it! I got reboot #2 with the graphics card inserted. I'm making an 'executive decision' - to ewaste both mobos are going. I think there is some wonky component or VRMs on the mobo. What is the interaction that causes it to be least symptomatic or being masked when PEG slot is populated, I don't know. But time to move on.

Can't you return them to the seller as defective?

What was the original purpose of buying them and why are we only hearing about the problems in 2025?

Anddddddddd....why not test Linux on them?

They been in my parts hoard collection all this time, found the motivation and opportunity to get them going. When I first receive them I updated the BIOS and tested them but I can't remember if I used a graphics card inserted or not. I don't see the point of trying Linux.

Man when I remove the VRM heatsink that I attached, acquired separately for processors 95W and higher, the screws were really torqued down! I don't know if I tightened them that hard or if they just became that way from repeated thermal cycling?
