Reset Switch and computer auto re-boot

Has anyone heard of a short in a reset switch causing the computer to reboot? I have a computer that reboots itself at random stages of boot up? I have a brand new system and the only common component between this system and my old system is the case.

My old system started rebooting. That's why I built a new one.

Why not just disconnect the reset switch and see if the problem goes away.

i highly doubt its the reset switch, but you can try what fern said and see if its stops resetting.
