Hello, I would be forever grateful if someone could help me crack bios password on a Dell Precision M4400 purchased on eabay. Message I get is
"This computer system, #3PNS84J-1F5A is protected by password authentication system".
I can't boot from a cd or hard drive.Service tag:3PNS84J . Express service code : 80-819-494-75
Any & all help is much appreciated. Thank you
 
Go back on Ebay and email the seller asking for the BIOS Password ... The forum normally frowns on telling how to bypass it, as the item in question might have been stolen. You can try just typing: Dell .. when it prompts for the password. Some systems have an extra way in other than what the user put in.
 
Call Dell, Provide proof of ownership and service tag number and they will generate you a code to unlock the machine.

The registered owner may have to go to Dells website and transfer ownership to you.
