I need to reset the CMOS on my MSI MB.
I keep reading posts that say to move the CMOS jumper to the clear position. by moving the jumper from the 1-2 pins to the 2-3 pins then back again.

How do I do this? There is a jumper on the two pins that are next to each other and there is three more pins in a row on the same JBAT pin thingy. Do I move the jumper so that it is on one of the two pins and one of the three pins?

The MB has a little red reset button and little red power button near the JBAT1 pins.

My computer will start for a second then shut off. This started happening after I tried clearing the CMOS.

Help!!!!

If you turn to your motherboard manual on page 2-18 it explains it for you.
The jumper on top of the # 1 and 2 pin keeps the data or is normal position.
The jumper on pin #2 and 3 will clear the data.

If you have lost your manual download it here. .Thats what I did.

If your just being to lazy to read it shame on you:roll:
