so im researching economic forecasting for an area that im interested in buying a house to rent out. any home owners out there that can provide input? So far im looking up cpi, employment, income median, real estate stats. what else should i focus on? Posting from my cell so sorry for the terrible grammer yo.
 
crime rate! traffic patterns (those don't fluctuate too much, but something to consider) nearness to any serious air pollution sources.

Since you're renting it out, might be ideal to find something that's walking distance to mass transit and a grocery store if possible. Especially if you're in a college type town.
