I wonder who paid for the study.

Also when was this study done?
Is it this study done back in late November ?

who cares? It's not a fair competition. PS3 is about around one year newer technology and the Wii isn't even on the same level as the XBOX360 or PS3.

wrong... its not newer tech.. thats where people are getting screwed..

the PS3s hardware had be finalized before the delay last year..
its the exact same generation of hardware the 360 has.

every tech analyst thats torn it apart has said the same thing.. other than the advantage of the blueray for bigger games the tech is a tossup.

same generation video chipset is whats really gonna limit both consoles.
with only 512 shared system/vid memory thats a serious limitation.

what sony shoulda done to really trump the 360 instead of using a bluray, use a reg DVD... BUT instead of an older gen 7 series modified chipset used the extra cost to put in an 8800 series with its own 768megs of graphics memory.. now that woulda been a major trump... thats woulda enabled much higher framerates and much more special effects in thier games. and ensured DX10 quality special effects.

The PS3 doesn't share its memory. 256 for video, 250 for system.

I agree though that the graphics are a wash.
