Since Compgeeks has sold out of the frames, thought I would post this too, just in case someone missed out. Tigerdirect.com has the Polariod Version for $99 after a $20 rebate online, but if you go to the store in Naperville IL ( Global ) you ac pick one up for $99 without the rebate. This is not my cup of tea, so I did not buy one, but I saw them listed on the floor.

This frame is apparently the same as the Ceiva (and connects
to the Ceiva network). That means you HAVE to use the network--there's
no compactflash card slot. ALSO, the Ceiva frames (and I suspect
this one) use an inferior passive matrix display (as opposed
to the Kodak active matrix display). That means much inferior
display quality.

All-in-all, NOT a hot alternative for those who wanted the Kodak
frame...Warm if you want to subscribe to the Ceiva network. (CompUSA
has the Ceiva version for $199 - $99 rebate this week, incidentally).

Poloroid is bankrupt - so the service will probably die too... Be careful, too, they say 8x10 frame, but the picture is only a 5x7.
