Requesting advice on booze / drinking.

I'll throw my vote in for the White Russion. Mmm...like chocolate milk. Warning: do not drink enough of these to get drunk. The cream will make you sick...very unpleasantly sick for a pioneering drinker.

Jagerbomb--a shooter
in a ~8oz glass

4oz. Redbull energy drink
1.5oz. Jagermeister

Fill the glass ½full of Redbull
place a shotglass full of Jagermeister in the larger glass so they two liquids don't mix
Chug😛

Jagerbombs taste just like candy...mmmm
 

Dr Smooth's recipe is great to avoid hang-overs. I usually stop at Burger King and get a whopper before a night out drinking. The Fat content in that helps prevent some absorbsion of alcohol. Whatever you do don't drink on an empty stomach! After you are done drinking down as many waters as you can. Don't float way but 2 - 3 Pints will be good.

I'm very close minded with my drinks. Guinness, Jose and sprite, Whiskey, an occasional Moonshine (yeah, you can still get it in VA up in the woods). You can always play it safe and get some wine coolers but by the sounds of it you want to try some hard stuff. Jack and Coke! Simple, you can get a taste for a great American aged whiskey, and you can adjust how much to taste.

Buy a bottle of Jameson or Bushmills. Throw a handful of ice in a glass, pour in enough to make the ice float, add a bit of water, enjoy.

1/2 shot Vodka, Bacardi and Triple Sec
1/4 shot of Gin and Tequila
2 shots Sweet and Sour (fruit juice works as well)
Dash Diet Coke

KamiKaze:

1/2 shot Vodka
1/2 Shot Triple Sec
Dash Lime Cordial

Flatliner: (This one hurts!!!)

1/2 shot Tequila
1/2 shot Sambuca
2 drops of Tabasco Sauce

Multiple Screaming Orgasm:

1/2 shot Ammeretto, Kahlua, Vodka and Baileys
2 shots half and half

Singapore Sling:

1 shot Gin
1 shot Cherry Brandy
2 shots Sweet and Sour
Dash Grenadine

Black Russian:

As with White Russian, but with Coke instead of Half and Half

Brain Hemorrage :

1/2 Shot Sambuca
1/2 shot Bailys (layered)
Dash Grenadine

All of the above are fun ways to get drunk 😉

i enjoy a drink,now and then,but not often,of late,

here is a sad story,please don't follow..

" How and when did John Bonham die?

On 24 September 1980, Bonham left Worcestershire to meet with the
group at Bray studios for rehearsals for the upcoming US tour.
He consumed a steady diet of quadruple screwdrivers along the way.
After the rehearsals, the band retreated to Page's Windsor house,
where Bonham continued to drink and then passed out. At around
1:45pm on 25 September, sound technician and Plant roadie Benji Le
Fevre checked on Bonham to find out why he hadn't stirred. There
was no pulse. A doctor arrived and pronounced Bonham dead at the
scene. A subsequent coroner's inquest revealed the cause of death
to be accidental -- Bonham choked on his own vomit after drinking
the equivalent of 40 measures of vodka. Alcohol poisoning may
have been involved, but was not positively determined. On
4 December 1980, Led Zeppelin issued the following statement:

"We wish it to be known that the loss of our dear friend and the
deep respect we have for his family, together with the sense of
undivided harmony felt by ourselves and our manager, have led us
to decide that we could not continue as we were."

LOL...I love how people can write 4-5 paragraphs about booze....


here is my $.02. First off eat a few hours before you start drinking. Eat something with a fair amount of starches. These food will fill you up, and help to absorb the alcohol.

Now for the drinking. I would recomend morgan and dr. pepper...it tastes good and it will have the desired affect. Start out mixing with about a 1-8 ratio of morgan to mixer...you will probably increase this as the night goes on due to the fact that you wont be tasting the alcohol after the first few. Make sure to throw down a glass of water for every few drinks you have. This will ease your hangover the next morning.

If you dont like Morgan, you might want to try screwdrivers (OJ and vodka,) parrot bay mixed with sprite, or one of my favorite things to do is invent your own drink. Take things that you already like the taste of and add alcohol.

my special brew recipe:
1 pint vodka (the better the vodka the better you will feel the next day)
1 six pack smirnof ice
1 pint cherry pucker
2 liter of sprite
ameretto-sp
ice

fill a blender halfway up with ice, about half the pucker, half the vodka, one bottle of the smirnoff, and a couple dashes of ameretto...
blend them all up until all the ice is melted...

it sounds like a lot of alcohol, but blended together you dont taste it hardly...this will get you very very drunk, very very quick

Other drink options:

You could just get a nice 15-20 dollar bottle of port (fortified wine from Portugual...kinda sweet)...pretty mellow and pleasant and it will do the trick.

Also:

Rusty Nail -- mildy sweet drink

3 oz Drambuie (a liquer made from Scotch whiskey and heather honey and herbs...sweet taste)
3 oz Scotch Whiskey (can subsitute Canadian whiskey but do not use Bourbons)

Pour into highball glass over ice. Adjust mix to suit your particular taste.

Sloe Comfortable Screw Against the Wall: This drink is ordered for the name and as a cheezy pick-up line if your trying to hit on the bartender. Again...sweet but good. And if your friends ask you how your 21st was you can say, " I had a couple nice sloe comfortable screws...it was nice" and leave them to guess about the rest.

In glass with ice (usually highball but sometimes a tumbler)
1 oz Vodka
1 oz Southern Comfort
1/2 oz Sloe Gin
Fill with orange juice
stir
top off with Galliano (a sweet spicy brandy based Italian liquer)
If you want to have fun with friends here some good one's:

Face Eraser

High ball glass filled with ice...

1 oz Vodka
1 oz Kahlua
fill to top with line soda

drink in one shot through a straw.

Really your black book of hard drinks will depend entirely on what liquors you prefer. I myself prefer scotch, tequila, and rum based drinks. My favorite drink is a good single malt scotch.
 
Thanks for all the suggestions! I think I'll go have a nice dinner an hour or two before drinking (steak, baked potato, and a roll, so that should work well enough for starch intake).

So far, what I plan on buying: Jack Daniels, Bacardi, and Grey Goose. (So that gives me whiskey, rum, and vodka, which seem like good things to start out on.) If I have money left, maybe some of that Drambuie stuff (sounds pretty good) and Coffee Liquer.

Stuff I'll be mixing with: Coke/ Vanilla Coke, some sort of cream/ half and half, cranapple juice (my favorite). Think I'll try some White Russians, Black Russians, Jack and Coke. Should be fun. Won't actually get drunk drunk if I can help it. We'll see how all this affects my Dance Dance Revolution scores.

I don't dance when I'm drunk - I just have a habit of putting my arm around anyone and everyone! I get really friendly. Good luck!
