Requesting a mods assistance with bad trader.

This is the thread that i am referring to.
This trader has issues in this thread stating that he didnt ship, then he did ship, then his friend lost it, then when he was left a neg heatware he left retaliatory heatware against the other guy. Another trader also got his package 2 weeks later than he was promised from theEman as well.

Maybe the mods in FS&T are a little busy and didnt see this guy, IMO maybe he should get a little time away to figure out the rules.

I thought id try to contact a mod to keep bad traders like this off of the forums. Wouldnt you agree that traders like this shouldnt trade here? I mean this guy is breaking many rules of the FS&T forum.

This is an interesting thread. As an innocent bystander, I have the following gratuitous observations.
a) The seller in question, TheEman, has moxie! For better or worse, I like his screw-you attitude.
b) It appears that he doesn't owe anyone any merchandise or money anymore. (Given a reasonable time for shipping to occur)
c) It appears that many of his trades conclude successfully. While his track record is not ideal, I don't feel that it is fraud. Would I trade with him? Only if he ships first Would I ban him? No. Let other forum members decide whether to trade with him or not. Of course, as events unfold, I could be proven wrong.

Are you saying you need perfect Heatware to trade here?

I am trying to draw the attention to the mods for these other guys who are trading with this guy. I did not get screwed over by this guy, i trade alot on the forums and wanted to get a mod to lock his thread so others dont get screwed over as well. Ive seen many other threads get locked over something smaller than this.

Whats the point of having rules and trading guidelines?

What happened to the days when the mods punished people leaving false heatware? Should that trader contact the troll hunters for that?

Well, my complaint is the HD showed up, was packaged well, no problems there...but, not noted in the FS thread was that the HD's from the x-box's need to be unlocked to be used in a pc...since i don't have a x-box, i can't use this HD....?? Why it was not noted in the FS thread by saying " HD needs to be unlocked first from an x-box to work in any pc" i don't know....
guess i am #$#@ out of luck...

one thing...the HD does work....for an x-box.... man, this deal sucks....I hope things get turned around, because this is really crappy selling...

Same trader said that the seller took 2 weeks after he paid to get said items, items that he cant even used because the seller didnt tell him that unless he had an xbox it wouldnt work.

The same seller left retaliatory feedback from another trader that he lied to and didnt respond to for over 2 weeks.

Another trader is complaining that he isnt getting a response from the seller.

Yet another posted in the thread asking about tracking since he wasnt getting a response from said seller.

"Just wanted to let you all know he agreed to purchase my ibm x31, and said he'd send out the money order. I Pmed him over the next couple days to see if he sent it/emailed him and he never responded. He was definately on AT cause I could tell from his Last Visited time. He finally responded a few days later saying he couldnt come up with the money. Definately not anyone I would trade with."

1. What rules were broken? I thought he took care of everybody? He misled sweeper2, intentionally or not but he did ship a product. Hopefully he will take it back and refund his money.

2. I have never know the Mods to punish someone for leaving retaliatory Heat. Heat is a separate entity from AT. Of course, I don't know everything that goes on here.

The trader you are referring to is a bad trader but I don't see him being a troll. His Heat (and to some extent these threads) should warn other to stay away from him or have him ship first.
At least he hasn't slipped into the woodwork. He is still communicating.
I am in no way defending him, just the principle of trading. If he has ripped someone off, the Trollhunters and the Mods will take care of it.

BTW, I am sure the Mods have seen the threads. Give them some time to look into it.

He took care of everyone? Reading that thread certainly doesnt sound like it.

2. I have seen mods talk to (and who knows what else) traders who have left false heat

I am not posting this to be an ass, i just see good traders and new traders getting screwed over by this guy. I thought maybe i should post and PM a mod to step in and do something.
It is pointless i guess, behavior like this is acceptable on these forums. Instead of trying to help out others here i come out looking like a tattletail of sorts. Not really what i was shooting for, but i learn something new all the time. Sorry for wasting your time.

I applaud you looking out for others.
I get the impression theEman is trying but just isn't capable of being a good trader.
He definitely needs to be looked into and dealt with accordingly.
