For a project I'm working on, I need video examples of the following:

CIF @ 30 fps
VGA @30 fps
720P @ 10, 24, 30 fps

- Ideally, if its the same video that would be great, but its not essential.

Thanks!

Thanks, I grabbed a video from the MS site. Any other ideas for the other formats?

VGA @ 30 fps - Some TV shows are broadcast at 29.97 full frames (as opposed to Telecined from 23.976 fps). DVD resolution is nearly the same; 720x480 vs. 640x480. A DVD of a show which is not telecined and not widescreen might suit your needs.

As for using the same video, hmm. You can reencode a BluRay disc or HDTV broadcast to any resolution you like, but adjusting the framerate all the way down to 10 will make the picture jittery.

What does CIF stand for?

Oh, hmm. That's a common resolution for old-fashioned MPEG (1) files, but for your purposes, you could just use your codec of choice and shrink the resolution again.

Your various video clips will wind up mimmicking VHS, DVD, and HDTV, respectively. If spending a few bucks is easier for you than learning how to rip & encode, you could buy/rent 3 copies of the same TV show or movie on tape, DVD, and BluRay.
