aight i'm gonna make holes at the back of my case but i want them to be perfect cuz i'm anal like that i'll be using them to make holes for 2 80mm fans side by side so i'll need the dimensions to be. i'll just print it out and drill over it ...

160mm width / 80mm height / Circles = 10mm big and please align them!!!

resaon i'm asking cuz i don't have AUTOCAD or whatever to make it exact? yes, poor me so help out if u got the right software and time paint just can't cut it out

much <3

example: plz no circles at the outer/middle areas cuz i need that area to screw my fans

ps. my tools are very limited, basically a powerdrill 🙁

That kind of arrangement would block so much air that it wouldn't be worth your while - 80mm fans are pretty weak as it is. Radio Shack has nibbling tools for around $12. and you should be able to find for less in a city the size of Houston (as low as $8.00 + shipping online). Then you can do a proper job of it.

I'd suggest usiong 120 mm fans as they move 3 times the air an 80 mm fan will and you can turn them down so they're whisper quiet and they'll still be moving a good amount of air.

As far as how to make a prefect circle goes. Use a door hole saw of the correct size for the fnas you choose. Get it at your local hardware store.

i bought these 2x120mm Aspire fans that are rated to blow 77CFM but my stock AeroCool fans seem to blow more air, are Aspire fans good brand? seems like i got a crap fan

and yeah i went to lowes earlier and found holesaws that'll work perfect for 80/120mm fans but it'll cost me like 60 or so for both 🙁

Sometimes it's not a matter of good brand or bad brand. It could be that the 120 mm fan you purchased was designed for very low noise applications and as a result, doesn't spin as fast as you think it's spinning.

Aspire is not one of the better brands of fans; NMB/Panasonic (Panaflo), Akasa, Pabst, Delta, Arctic Cooling, Nexus, Scythe, and Yate Loon are some great fan brands.
