Please recommend CPU+MOBO+RAM only Possible upgrade(s):

Gonna purchase in USA when I am traveling between Dec11-17 .
Dec 12 to 17 -- only via online on these dates because I am gonna be in Tampa Florida during this time.
or
can do in-store purchase at New York on Dec 11

Purpose:
Would like to make use of Combo deals available in Microcenter ( for in-store purchase only on Dec11-monday).
Just an upgrade to watch movies and do usual computer uses like MS office work etc.
casual gaming - I am not a gaming guy ...just play FPS games in my free time may be an hour per day.
In future (about an year from now) will want to install 64GB RAM for future purpose:
Will be running few VMs in VMWARE workstation, Cisco UCS Simulator, GNS3 software (not simultaneously though)
[For those who do not know GNS3 - it is a simulator for Cisco Routers used for doing practice labs for Cisco Networking Examination at Expert level.
Running 2-3 instances of router on GNS3 / Dynamips/Dynagen demands CPU cycles 'horsepower' and Cisco-NSX simulation, if possible]

Budget
Max $250

Preference: AMD and MSI mobo ( MSI mobo s were reliable in past).
Also it would be better to have international warranty because this system will be taken to India.

My current Hardware:

CPU: AMD Phenom II X2 550 - 3.1GHz. (done coreunlocker - running as X3 as X4 is unstable and gives boot issues)
RAM: 4GB (DRAM Frequency-666.7 Mhz).
Mobo: ASUS M4A88T-M LE ( 880G chipset= HD4250). with PCI e 2.0
PSU: seasonic s12ii 520
GPU: ATI/AMD Radeon HD 7770/R7 250X
HDD : 128GB SSD (kingston) + 2 * 1TB WD blue drives
somethings which I am looking at are the following:
B350 TOMAHAWK AM4 ATX +
AMD Ryzen 5 1400 Boxed Processor for $194 ( $234 inclusive of Taxes 😱 )

I request you recommendation for good CPU+MOBO combo s and 16GB or more RAM ( i know I might have to stretch a lil bit for RAM...anyways.. provide your suggestions).

I don't think you're going to find 16GB + a motherboard and cpu that you'd want new for $250. The only Microcenter AMD combo that fits your budget with 16GB is an 8 core FX processor, but if you're not getting Ryzen, don't get AMD. Maybe try to get a pre-owned or refurb Haswell or Ivy Bridge i5 desktop and pull out the motherboard and processor out of that. You might be able to do that and get 16GB.

Since you are able to look at Micro Center's website, why not look at their bundled CPU/motherboard prices, and pick the one you want based on your budget? Then you will know how much you will have left for RAM (which you will get while you're there anyways)?

Any motherboard you are interested in, just Google the model number and read a review.
