Request from BBR Team Starfire

Greetings to a great TeAm!!

Well it seems that Team Starfire is now less than 4K WU's away from passing the TeAm. As such, we respectfully ask for permission to pass. This has been one heck of a race so far, and I can see that it is by no means over. Feel free to counter our WU "assault" if you dare!!

Crunch on...

Yeah, sorry for the unconventional way that this request was posted. For some reason, your board wanted to post my message shortly after I had begun to type it. I probably hit enter at the wrong time...🙂

So what do you say? Gonna give us permission or must we breach the front with our tongues sticking out!!! hehehe

Crunch on...

Yes, pretty please? My girlfriend said that my tongue is only for her, so don't make me get in trouble over this! 😛

Just remember to use your turn signal when you pull out to pass 😀 Good work, and hopefully we will be chasing you all the way up the chart from here 😀

Actually I appreciate the respect they are displaying towards us. 🙂 Correct me if I am wrong, but I believe this would be the first time you have asked for permission of another team. I think it is a classy gesture on their part so I will say (speaking for myself) that you have my permission, but remember we will be working hard to make up for the current production defecit so keep on your toes over there - we are not the type to roll over an play dead 😀

Although it pains me, i'd rather you pass us gracefully 🙂

We will slide into your slipstream, and follow you up the ranks 🙂 And maybe then slingshot around you from in your slipstream 😉

Good work in catching us guys 🙂

Ya, sweet job! Expecialy Bandi! Wow, 6000 Wu's a day.

You have my permission to pass us, but remember, we are far from finsihed!

I've been sorta torn over this whole passing thing...up until the last couple of days. I think your gesture is one of the best yet Overhill....and that is why I hold you and your team to the highest regards. I don't want BBR to pass us (any team wouldn't), but its going to happen anyway.....at least at this point....and your request is very noble of you.

/me goes to throw some nails in the road......and a dead O'possum too! :Q

honk...honk! *******

I appreciate your comments and your permission. LOL...I can guarantee you that I did not for an instant expect you or your team to roll over and play dead. That just doesn't happen on great TeAm's!!

You have our permission to pass. 🙁

Just don't be suprised if you get Whacked! on the rear on the way by with Rowdy Ray's cane! 🙂

It has been an honor to lead the way into the top 10 for you.

🙂

PS - Keep an eye in the rear view mirror. 😉

What he said 😉
Just don't forget we're back there 😉 We will not give up!

I wave to "overhill" and "Broadband Reports Team Starfire" with all five fingers extended. 😉 😀

I'd like to second that request. The battle is far from over, but for the time being, I'd like to treat the TeAm to the respect it deserves, and ask permission to pass. The comradrie between the teams has done wonders for both teams, it's a shame one team has to be ahead.

Looking forward to competing with this fine TeAm in the future! Competition really does bring out the best in people.... 😉 😀 😉

Not necessarily! We (TA and BBR) could join forces and be one of the greatest teams in the world 😀 Given the quality of the members of both TA and BBR seperately, we would be the ultimate Seti force 😀

Something for everyone to think about?? 😉

Confused 🙂

I'll move over to let you pass gracefully but keep in mind, we're not letting up. AFAIK we've only been passed by a couple of teams(Seti@NL and HW France?) and I'm still gunning for HW France down the road. As Wiz said, enjoy leading for a while. 😉

Yeah, I'm in agreement with mechBgon.. just use your turn signal when you change lanes and pass us. 🙂

Not using turn signals is a definite way to tick me off. :disgust:

Greetings once again dear friends. Yes, I must again apologize for being tardy. Unfortunately that peril called real life has kept me away from here today. I thank my underling Overhill for filling in for me in my absense.

We at BBR Team Starfire have made many many new friends in the past few years. The interaction between us and the various teams that we have encountered along the way has enriched all of us. Personally, I feel that the interaction between TeAm AnandTech and Starfire far outshines the brightest of stars as far as the brilliance of our relationship. Though we are two separate and distinct teams, in reality we are one. We are one in respect toward each other. We are one in having the same ultimate goals. We are one in totally enjoying the rivalry that we have with each other.

Today we come to you asking your permission to pass you. Even though there is but a short time left to the current project, we realize that it is not out of the question that perhaps the same could happen to us at some date in the future. To that I say, who better to surrender a position than to our closest friends. The time is short and there is still much work to be done. Let us proceed forward in quest of those still above us and continue the search for ET.

TeAm AnandTech, as Ambassador at Large for BBR Team Starfire, I salute you our friends!!
