Request for nforce 680i comparison article

When you take a look of nforce 680i motherboards they seem to be quite different from each other. The chipset is same ofcause but the difference lies on the additional features like hardware interfaces. It has been written one can't get enough voltage for the external USB hard disk from the two USB ports of the EVGA motherboard where the other four worked fine.

I really would like to read an Anandtech's review of camparing these beauties together. Power consumption, benchmarks, heat, overclocking features and introduction of the additional features one can get via a specific motherboard.

At this time we only have the Asus boards and the reference (EVGA/BFG) design to compare. Unfortunately, the Gigabyte, abit, DFI, and Biostar 680i boards will not be out until January. I have run Segate's new 750GB external USB 2.0 drive off the EVGA board without an issue. We are thinking about doing a high-end shootout with the two 680i boards against the BadAxe2 975X and DFI RD600 in the mean time.

Would the 680i vs. BadAxe2 vs. RD600 article include a 680i reference board (EVGA,etc.), or just the Asus ones?

I think an article like that in the mean time, before the other 680i boards are out, would be greatly appreciated!

Is it possible that this will happen sometime soon, or is AT planning on waiting until the DFI, Gigabyte,etc boards come out? Thanks...

A high end shootout comparison between the BadAxe2, eVGA 680i, P5N32-E SLI, Striker Extreme, and the DFI RD600 would be awesome! I'd love to read AT's results of that type of review/comparison.
