Request for Mac OS X users

Hello, everyone.

I would like to see a "busy" desktop on a Mac OS X er... OS.

By busy, I mean many "windows" open.

I appreciate your time. 😀

Zangief!!!

In Soviet Rusia, Zangief grabs YOU!

So... basically Object Dock and Konfabulator are the exact same on MacOS X and WinXP?

I never used Object Dock, so I can't comment on it. All I can say is that it looks almost the same as the OS X Dock.

I don't use Konfabulator, and I do not know if it is out on Windows yet, (is it?) but I am pretty sure Konfabulator on Windows would be the same as the Mac OS X version.

Then Objectdock is probably different. On the Mac OS X dock, you can minimize your windows into it. I don't know if you can do this on Object dock, but on the OS X dock, you can drag folders into it, and right click on them to create a menu of the contents of that folder. Its' a faster way of accessing the contents of your folder.

From the looks of Konfabulator, it looks exactly the same as the OS X version.

Not too busy.
Representative of my desktop before I took an actual screenshot.

If you notice the little boxes on the lower left, you'll see why my desktops don't get too "busy."

So, why did you want a busy Mac OS X screenie?

Not Mac OS X, but the ugliest theme ever!

n0c, you can use Apple-SHIFT-3 and Apple-SHIFT-4 to do your screenshots instead of Grab.

And here's mine. Mind you, its a slow day today. I used Expose because I had too much stuff floating around, but this does show that a G4 DP-867 can still be useful. 😛

Didn't know that. I'll keep it in mind, or forget it. 😛

Now that's where Exposé becomes useful. WinXP has a similar option, but not as good.

n0ckmonkery:
Yeah... its as ugly as it gets, that Linux desktop of yours.

I just want to compare in a user basis how a Mac OS X desktop looks like

It's not Linux, and is labeled appropriately in the shot. I was "going for ugly" when I made the theme. 😉

What is it then?

OpenBSD 3.5.

Here's Dashboard on my computer:
Dashboard
It looks like Konfabulator, but it's actually different, especially in the backend.

Edit: fixed link 😛

Edit 2:
Windows users who complain there's no start menu in OS X may find this interesting:
Start Menu 😛

hopejr, Yeah, I use that too. Works great. I can get around OSX fine without it, but am so used to that start menu in Windows it comes in handy sometimes. I have also been messing with Himmelbar. Works well as a start menu also.
