The review Anandtech did with affordable NAS units was great. However, there have since been two more nice NAS units released:
1. Thermaltake NAS
2. Promise NAS
I had my heart and wallet set on the ReadyNAS NV+, but the throughput was nothing to get exciting about. And it was one of the fastest units in the Anandtech comparison. It also had some issues with timestamping (not good for backups), but I haven't checked back in the Infrant forums lately, so that may have already been resolved. My main thing is, throughput and features. And I'd like to see how these two new NAS units stack up to the ReadyNAS.
So, is there any hope we can see a review like this in the near future? PLEASE! 🙂
