Getting to the time to pick up a couple refurbed Lenovo Thinkpads and was wondering if anybody had a good source?
Thinking something like a pair of T430/s units. I will be re-using the SSDs I have in my current laptops so a HDD is not even necessary. Just need something with a 2nd or 3rd gen i5 and I will be g2g.
Thanks,
Bob

I bought a T430s on eBay.

If you are picky, ask the seller for the serial # and pictures of actual product (most already do this in the listing). Also get one with BIOS unlocked. Otherwise sellers will list refurbs as A or B quality. At this age, most are B quality (scuff marks).

Just make sure it was certified by Lenovo and has a Lenovo warranty usually one year onsite.

You can buy it on Lenovo website too, but it cost 25% more then eBay sellers. On the Lenovo website you have to go to the bottom of the page and click on the refurbish. It sort of hidden.
