i've been shopping for about 2-3 years now online and up till now i have not had a problem. now that i have found http://www.resellerratings.com/ i found out that some places that i ordered from before has gone bad. is there a list of places where i can find cheap prices (after shipping) and is safe and fast with a decent warranty program to buy stuff from?

I get a lot of stuff from MicroBarn only thing that sucks is that they are local and I get nailed with sales tax. But, they have always been good to me and in my mind that is one of the most important things.

if you read the resellers ratings you will see that people do get ripped off by vendors on pricewatch. places like accubyte are one of the worst.

MY Paragon experience wasn't so great. Ordered a PIII 600e and it came used. You know a used cpu when you see one. Scratches on it, fading in certain areas.

I've ordered a couple times from Astak and my experience has been positive. But for the more general, mainstream items, it's either Buy.com or Onvia.com, of which I have most respect for the latter. I have never received such good customer service from any vendor than from Onvia.com.

buycomp.comand Multiwave techare two of my favorites never had a bad experience with either.Have bought from egghead and upgrade source also several times too but have got hammered on shipping or lied to about in stock items.outside loop is another very reputable vendor I have dealt with several times (best customer service yet). 😉

Don't buy from NeutronUSA or Neutron in PA. They are the worst. They have the absolute worst return policy so if you have any problems with your stuff forget about it.

I've found Onvia the best. I returned 3 21" monitors to them due to problems and they've sent me new ones before I even returned the old ones. Plus shipping is free too!

I also bought Overclocked stuff for OCZ Smartshopper. Bought an OCed Duron 950 and it works just like they said.
