Republicans!

I've heard the $20 million alloted for the party commemorating success in Iraq and Afghanistan was originally sponsored by a Republican Senator from Kentucky, Rick McConnell by name, although I probably spelled his name incorrectly.

Twenty million dollars for celebrating something that hasn't happened (success) rather than using that money for education, medical research, increased counter-terrorism efforts, etc... you know the things that actually help people live better lives

The problem with the republicans isn't the $20 million they redirected from things that will help people, it's the many places they've redirected $20 billion from those things.

The republicans have redirected trillions in a 'class war' from almost everyone to the few at the top, when you take into account the many years of the effects.

Millions, billions, trillions, the problem is that a little money put into propaganda to say "John Kerry is a wimp" persuades the public to vote for them.
